Description

Made in Portugal, this MacKenzie-Childs Thistle & Bee flat cup and saucer set is in flawless condition. I see no signs of use whatsoever. These exquisite pieces feature hand-applied transfer decoration, including a honeybee, the trademark Childs Courtly Check® ribbon, thistle and flowers, as well as gold-tone detailing around the saucer, the cup's upper rim and the entire handle. The saucer measures about 6.5 inches in diameter. The cup has a 3-inch diameter and stands 2.5 inches high. The lone flaw to mention is one pin-point sized ding on the golden rim of one saucer that is only noticeable if you are inspecting it up close in extremely bright sunlight. This is an impossible-to-find set that is in exceptional condition. *Please note: I have more items from this lovely line also listed on eBay.
